Ministry of Culture announces competition to create festive fireworks display

The Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan announces competition to create festive fireworks display "Garaşsyzlyk joşguny".

The purpose of the competition to proclaim as musical works the approval of 2021 “Turkmenistan – Home of Peace and Trust”, 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, permanent neutrality of the Motherland, as well as to identify the most talented composers of the country and have a special musical education, amateurs engaged in musical creativity, to increase the desire to create music and encourage creative personnel.

The music presented at the competition should be solemn, festive, glorifying the great achievements of Turkmenistan, in various genres (in the form of a symphonic image, symphonic overture or modern music), duration 15 minutes, in structure to correspond to the type of classical music, include individual artistic images, fireworks music with a single structure.

Contestants must submit notes of their work (in printed form) and audio recording (in electronic form) to the working group created by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

Musical works submitted for the competition will be accepted until March 20, 2021.
