Turkmen Delegation Attends Doha Forum

A Turkmen delegation led by Oguljahan Atabayeva, vice president for medical activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Children in Need of Guardianship, attended the Doha Forum, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Monday.

Atabayeva, speaking at the session “Protecting Children in the New Era: Developing Inclusive Humanitarian Measures,” emphasized the importance of comprehensive upbringing, preserving national traditions, strengthening family values, and ensuring children’s equal access to education, healthcare, and resources.

Atabayeva also met with Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, and Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.

The discussions focused on humanitarian cooperation, educational initiatives, and preparations for the International Conference on Women in Today’s Society, which will promote global cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals. The event is scheduled for Dec. 10 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

The Doha Forum 2025 opened Dec. 6 in Doha with the participation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The event brought together heads of state and government, leading experts, and senior diplomats.
