The city bus terminal in Tejen has been overhauled and put into operation to improve the quality of passenger transportation, Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Automobile Transport reported Saturday.

According to the report, the building has been fully renovated and equipped with all necessary facilities for passengers and drivers.

Regular bus services currently operate on 17 routes from the new terminal. The transport network covers not only the city of Tejen but also nearby gengeshliks and other districts. In particular, bus connections have been established with the gengeshliks of Garaşsyzlyk, Täze oba, Birleşik, Agalan, Ak Altyn, B. Kerbabaýev, Garrygala, Göni Amaşa, Döwletli and Gurbandurdy, as well as the settlements of Bagtyýarlyk, Bitaraplyk and Gaňňaly.

In addition, intercity routes operate from the terminal to Babadayhan district, as well as to the cities of Altyn Asyr and Serahs.

The upgrades aim to expand access to modern and high-quality transport services for the population.
