Job Purpose

Translation and interpretation from English and/or Turkmen into Russian and backward.

Job Responsibilities

Translation of the following documents:

• Tendering and contracts documentation.
• Official correspondence.
• Financial, legal and technical documents.
• To perform translation and interpretation within timeframes set by the management.
• To provide high degree of conformity of the translations to the lexical, stylistic and semantic content of the originals.
• Whenever requested by the management, to participate in business negotiations, meetings and other events, which may require translation services.
• Careful attitude towards entrusted property and inventory.
• Close interaction and support when other departments call for help
• If necessary, going on business trips as per instruction of management
• Execution of other tasks assigned by line management, if required.
• Compliance with the dress code policy of the company.

Translator is responsible for:

• For non-fulfillment (improper performance) of the duties stipulated by job description, in the range of identified by Turkmenistan legislation.
• For implementation in process of carrying out works violations in range of identified by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Turkmenistan.
• For causing material damages - in the range identified by the labor, criminal and civil laws of Turkmenistan.

Education

• Russian, English and Turkmen languages
• Translation techniques
• Terminology in the subject areas of translations in Russian, English and Turkmen languages
• Grammar and stylistics of Russian, English and Turkmen languages
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Team building skills
• Effective organizational skills
• Computer skills at highly professional level
• Effective written communication skills
• Time management skills
• Basics of labour legislation, internal code of labour conduct, as well as labour safety and fire safety rules
