Job Purpose

• Responsible for deploying and supporting the company IT Systems Infrastructure.
• Extend the IT Infrastructure Operations function in DOTL Hazar and Ashgabat offices.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Manage network servers, storages and IT Infra technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and endpoint security.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Build an internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
• Assist in the application of operating system and SCCM patches and upgrades.
• Assist with monitoring, tuning and maintaining systems (servers, disc clusters, peripherals, software, etc.) and day-to-day activities necessary to ensure IT infrastructure continuity of service at an acceptable level of performance.
• Participate in testing of system security, early warning systems, disaster recovery and business continuity measures, procedures and processes; identify weaknesses and recommend corrective action.
• Assist with monitoring hardware performance and disc utilization, perform authorized hardware upgrades and carry out performance tuning and disc space recovery.
• Assist with monitoring disc utilization and performance and manage capacity planning.
• Help support data center and computer host systems including hardware, software and equipment such as air-conditioning system, UPS, fire protection system and controlled environment equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance and update of the data center library of hardware, software and operating system manuals, drawings, standards, procedures and guidelines and ensure out-of-date documents are promptly removed.

Education

Must Know:

• Microsoft windows desktop and server operating systems administration.
• Microsoft File and print services. Microsoft Active directory, DNS and DHCP.
• HPE and DELL Server management. Microsoft office applications.
• Enterprise backup and data archival technologies. (Veritas EV, NetBackup and Acronis)
• Virtualization technologies, such as Nutanix, Hyper-V and VMWare.
• Linux Server Administration.  Cisco Switches and routers or equivalent network equipment.
• FortiGate firewalls or equivalent security appliance..

Eligibility Criteria:

• Technical education and work experience in required.
• Experience in Microsoft server administration.
• Experience in HPE of other brand server hardware administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in various IT infra structure services.
• Knowledge in basic enterprise networking.
