Job title: Short-Term Local Consultant/Trainer

Overall Objective and Purpose

As part of strategic objectives, YDA regularly analyses the local labor market to identify the skills and qualifications that are currently in-demand in the local labor market. Based on that analysis, YDA designs and implements training courses that equip youth with in-demand skills and supports youth in finding jobs. YDA is going to expand this work to provide more opportunities for local youth. YDA will also more actively engage with the private sector to increase the efficiency of its professional training programs. YDA will hire a local consultant who will provide support in designing and implementing professional training courses.

Responsibilities:

• The consultant will be responsible for implementing the following activities in coordination with YDA staff.
• Analyze the local labor market and identify in-demand skills, professions, and qualifications.
• Design training courses that will equip youth with in-demand skills. This will include preparing a curriculum and involving qualified trainers.
• Arrange professional training courses and ensure high-quality implementation.
• Engage private sector companies in the training process to ensure more efficiency.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and report on program effectiveness offering feedback and adjustments as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pedagogy, business administration, economics, HR, social sciences or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in HR, business development, or academia with a proven track record in developing and implementing training programs.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency in Turkmen, Russian, and English.
