Sales Engineer – Process Automation & Instrumentation
Position: Sales Engineer for Process Automation & Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities in process automation and instrumentation
- Prepare technical-commercial proposals and quotations
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions
- Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and client specifications
- Liaise with process engineers, automation engineers, plant managers, and procurement teams
- Provide technical support and participate in project discussions
Requirements
Education:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering (Process Automation, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field)
Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of process automation systems, field instrumentation, and control solutions
- Familiarity with international standards and industrial safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, datasheets, and technical drawings
Sales & Communication:
- Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or project support
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel (domestic & international) for training, client visits, and site support
- Eagerness to learn and expand technical knowledge
- Strong self-motivation, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Professional email and business communication skills
