Since 1975, PETRONAS has provided educational sponsorships to over 36,000 deserving students who possess high academic caliber and a drive to push boundaries, along with strong leadership qualities and a passion for making a difference.
PETRONAS is currently offering full scholarships to eligible students in the following disciplines for studies at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in Malaysia:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Petroleum Geoscience
- Information System
- Information Technology
Requirements:
- Marital status: Single
- Age: 17-24 years old
- Engineering Courses: Successful completion of secondary school with excellent results in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics
- Technology Courses: Successful completion of secondary school with excellent results in Mathematics
- English Language proficiency certificate (TOEFL or IELTS) - minimum score: IELTS of 5.0 or TOEFL PBT score of 500 / iBT score of 50
To apply, please submit the following documents:
- Applicant's CV (resume)
- Twelve (12) copies of passport-sized photos (3.5 cm (w) x 5 cm (h)) with a white background in JPEG/GIF format
- Copy of local and international passport (valid for more than 24 months)
- Certificate of Completion of Secondary school (reference letter from school for the first three quarters)
- English Language proficiency certificate (TOEFL or IELTS)
- Other relevant certificates or documents supporting the application
- Copy of military book (if applicable)
