The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning, and organizing all aspects of the task related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will have to oversee the works of his peers acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project. Project Construction Manager’s role is to oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling: Developing project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Budget Management: Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that costs are kept within the allocated budget.
- Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure that construction projects are completed efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of construction professionals, including contractors, subcontractors, and other project staff, to ensure that everyone is working towards the project goals.
- Quality Control: Monitoring construction quality and ensuring that work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Communication: Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other project team members, to keep them informed of project progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Compliance: Ensuring that construction projects comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Problem-solving: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process and finding solutions to keep the project on track.
- Documentation: Keeping detailed records of project progress, expenses, and any changes or modifications to the original project plan.
- QA/QC, HSE, Construction Performance evaluation
- Leadership
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals.
- Reporting system
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
