Job Purpose

• Assist in coordinating the implementation of the Company social aid programming in Balkan region according to the approved plan, building on the positive image of the Company within local communities, as an organization with strong corporate responsibility principles.
• Propose and recommend the Company Management in the process of ensuring conformity of the Company operations to the environmental requirements.
• Assist in liaising between the Company Management and the community, state organizations, and other establishments on the questions of CSR and Environment.
• Provide administrative and technical assistance to CSR & Environment Supervisor in execution of specific functional tasks for the HSE department.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning and budgeting of the projects;
• Coordinating approvals for the projects both internally and externally;
• Facilitating the Purchasing and Contracts Departments in tendering;
• Monitoring the works progress status;
• Presenting to Company Management and concerned state agencies on the implemented corporate social assistance programs, and values added to communities;
• Recommending on improvements and durability of projects;
• Control a database on the CSR projects – the CSR Register;
• Assist in preparation and compilation of the CSR reports for Company Management
• Facilitate the process of ensuring conformity of the operations to the environmental requirements of the state authorities – facilitation of the environmental documents development;
• Facilitate the implementation of objectives of the Environmental Management System (EMS);
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure their compliance with EMS procedures and requirements for audit and training purposes;
• Provide technical expertise on the state environmental regulatory and legislative acts, requirements and standards, as well as monitor relative legislative amendments and new regulatory publications;
• Facilitate the Line Supervisor in the organization and execution of ecological state authority inspections at the Company facilities.
• Participate in internal environmental audits in collaboration with HSE and other audit committee members, and develop actions pertaining ISO 14001 compliance;

Qualification Requirements:

• University degree and/or international certification in environmental studies, sustainability or related disciplines (such as those related to economics, biology, chemistry, business administration, community relations and etc.). Postgraduate degree is an asset;
• Professional experience in the field of environmental protection and/or CSR;
• Work experience in project management;
• Strong communication skills and public speaking experience;
• Fluent speaker of Russian and English language, Turkmen is an asset;
• Advanced user of the MS Office applications.
