Job Description:

The American Councils are seeking a dedicated IT Specialist for a short-term program aimed at enhancing digital literacy and technology skills among youth in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary, and Turkmenabat. The IT Specialist will deliver workshops, provide technical support, and assist in the development of educational materials focused on various programming and design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with program coordinator and local staff to develop engaging curriculum materials tailored for youth audiences.
• Promote an enthusiastic learning environment to engage participants and encourage the exploration of technology.
• Assess participants’ progress and provide feedback to help guide their learning experience.

Qualifications:

– Strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Python, Django, PHP
• Dart, Flutter
• Figma, Adobe
• Arduino, C++/Java
• Thank Able, App Inventor, Scratch
• AI

– Proven experience working with youth in educational or community settings.

– Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
