Job Purpose

• Main duties of Metrology & Certification supervisor is to ensure timely registration and certification of all DOTL equipment and facilities in accordance with local regulations and requirements
• Perform Technical and administrative engineering task to secure and sustain main state service “Turkmenstandartlary” certifications in support of company objectives to provide continued equipment performance and reliability
• Supervise Local Compliance officers and arrange requirements to meet requirements of Labour protections such annual knowledge exam and training, obtaining g required certification, exams and etc for staff and assets.
• Supervise Metrologist, License and Certificate Controller and Local Compliance at both offshore and onshore facilities and Document Controller.
• Liaise with Local Authorities to develop and Monitore the calibration schedule and monitor progress

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Metrologies team for a full compliance against National and international accreditations for DOTL equipment and facilities
• Liaise and coordinate with all departments to ensure timely registration and calibration of measuring devices
• Supervise Local Compliance officers and arrange requirements to meet requirements of Labour protections such training, obtaining required certification, exams and etc.
• Liaise with Local Authorities
• Performing Routinely inspect and maintain status stickers, calibration dates on measuring instruments such as scales, thermometers, barometers, plumb bobs, surveying equipment, and other measuring devices
• Act as focal point of COMPANY during External Audit and prepare all required requirements
• Liaise with Local Authorities and obtain all required safety and industrial certificates
• Maintain and control the list of all calibrated equipment with the proper specifications, tolerances and dates of validities
• Managing the registration of measuring equipment with the local regulator and metrology authority “Turkmenstandartlary” Data base
• Provide technical assistance to end user and procurement for procuring and registration of measuring devices

Eligibility Criteria:

• Higher Professional Education (Bachelor’s Degree in Metrology / Bachelor’s Instrument Engineering/ Bachelor’s Electronic Engineering)
• Five (5) years of professional metrology laboratory experience with accreditation from “Turkmenstandartlary”, the National Institute of Standards and accreditations authorities in Turkmenistan.
• Relevant experience in oil and gas upstream installation, processes, operation & maintenance of measuring Equipment.
• Good knowledge of Flow Meters (Single and multiphase), Fire & Smoke Detection System, volume with Testing & Calibration.
• Capable to read & draw P&ID Diagrams.
• Computer knowledge and skills
• Candidate shall have reasonable English Skills and shall be able to read and understand English Language in addition to Russian and Turkmen Language
