Job Vacancies: Logistics Operator

Location: Balkanabat, Turkmenistan

The Logistics Operator is responsible for supporting logistics operations, equipment readiness, asset tracking, and maintenance systems. This role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills and an interest in logistics, equipment management, and operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor equipment shipments, transportation requests, and logistics activities.
• Prepare equipment load plans, shipping documentation, manifests, and backload arrangements.
• Ensure equipment is properly prepared, packed, dispatched, received, and tracked throughout its lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in SAP, IBM Maximo, and other business systems.
• Support equipment readiness and maintenance activities to ensure timely deployment for field operations.
• Liaise with logistics suppliers, import/export teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant equipment movements.
• Monitor system transactions, asset traceability, and inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality, operational, and HSE standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma, vocational qualification, or bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics &Transportation, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, asset control, or equipment coordination.
• Experience with SAP, IBM Maximo, or maintenance planning systems would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Turkmen and English. Knowledge of Russian is desirable.
