In anticipation of the sacred Night of Al-Qadr (Gadyr gijesi), mosque openings took place in the village of Hazar in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan province, the village of Ruhubelent in the Rukhubelent district, Dashoguz province, the village of Dovletli in the Hojambaz district, Lebap province, and in the city of Shatlyk, Sakarchage District, Mary province.
According to Turkmenistan's official media, the construction of these mosques was carried out by teams from local enterprises.
Furthermore, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, keys to new automobiles were handed over to the mosques in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary provinces.
In the new mosques opened across Turkmenistan's provinces, including the Seyit Jamal ad-Din Mosque in the city of Anau, Ak Bugday district, Ahal province, which was opened at the end of March this year, Iftar meals were conducted on Friday in honor of the sacred Night of Al-Qadr (Gadyr gijesi).
