In Turkmenbashy, the new building of the Kazakhstan Consulate opened on December 18, 2024, during the working visit of Nurlan Nogaev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, as reported by the Kazakhstan Embassyin Turkmenistan.
The ambassador, in his speech, emphasized that constructive dialogue between the leaders of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan forms the basis of successful cooperation between the two countries. He highlighted the importance of collaboration among government agencies and the development of trade and economic ties, which play a key role in strengthening bilateral relations.
Nogaev also pointed out the strategic nature of cooperation, rooted in a shared history, mutual respect, and traditions of friendship. He noted that these foundations have stood the test of time and serve as the basis for advancing joint initiatives.
To celebrate the consulate's opening, a concert coinciding with Kazakhstan's Independence Day featured performances by representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, showcasing their rich culture and traditions.
