Tbilisi Hosts Briefing on 30 Years of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a briefing on Thursday for Georgian media representatives, dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.

The event was attended by journalists from leading TV channels and print outlets, including First Channel, Obieqtivi, The Georgian Business Week, Europa 24, Resonance, Multinational Georgia, Free Georgia, Komsomolskaya Pravda, as well as representatives of GeorgiaPress, News Day Georgia, Geoecohub, and the Geocase analytical center.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia, Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, emphasized that Turkmenistan’s foreign policy based on the principles of neutrality, peace, and openness is widely supported in the international arena.

He also briefed the media on upcoming celebrations and events both in Turkmenistan and abroad, marking the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality.
