Belgian Vandewiele Highlights Success in Collaboration with Abadan Haly

Belgian company Vandewiele, a global leader in carpet weaving machinery, has highlighted its successful partnership with Turkmen enterprise Abadan Haly, noting stable production performance, Vice President Thomas Baudouin and Sales Manager Timur Tefikov said this during a visit by Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, to the company’s production facilities.

According to the Turkmen Embassy in Belgium on Friday, Thomas Baudouin and Timur Tefikov also expressed the company’s interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan’s textile and carpet-weaving enterprises.

The visit program included a presentation of the company’s operations and a tour of its production processes. The Belgian side shared the history of Vandewiele, its specialization, and innovative solutions aimed at improving weaving efficiency.

Ambassador Palvanov was shown modern production lines for manufacturing high-precision equipment, as well as stages of testing and quality control. Special attention was given to the application of cutting-edge technologies in the production of machinery for the carpet industry.

Vandewiele is a Belgian engineering company with more than 140 years of history, specializing in high-tech equipment for the textile industry. The company is headquartered in Kortrijk. Vandewiele produces weaving looms, Jacquard machines, knitting and yarn heat-treatment equipment, and also offers digital solutions for automating manufacturing processes.
