Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Kazakhstan Monday for a state visit. He was welcomed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport with a ceremonial guard and the raising of Turkmen and Kazakh national flags.
High-level Turkmen-Kazakh talks are scheduled, during which bilateral agreements are expected to be signed.
This year marks the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Over that period, cooperation has expanded across multiple sectors, with active political contacts at the highest level.
The visit aims to further strengthen the multi-level strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
