The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine on Feb. 4, 2026, held a presentation of a new book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov titled “The Neutrality of Turkmenistan: a Bright Path of Peace and Trust,” the embassy said.

The event was part of the embassy’s efforts to present Turkmenistan’s foreign policy course, international initiatives and contribution to strengthening peace and security, as well as to promote multilateral diplomacy, humanitarian cooperation and sustainable development.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Toyly Atayev said the book offers an in-depth examination of the foundations of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, the international recognition of the country’s permanent neutrality and its successful implementation amid contemporary global challenges from political and philosophical perspectives.

Diplomats from the embassy also addressed the event, outlining the book’s key ideas, its significance for Turkmenistan’s current development path and the role of youth in implementing strategic objectives set by the President.

The program included performances of national music on the dutar and an exhibition of paintings dedicated to Turkmenistan’s independence, neutrality and achievements.

Later the same day, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine hosted an event attended by Turkmen youth, students and members of the diaspora. The gathering was dedicated to the 2026 theme, “Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses,” and events marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
