A Turkmen delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atahallyyev arrived in Dushanbe to take part in the 14th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan on trade, economic, and scientific and technical cooperation, scheduled for March 3–4.
The official delegation was welcomed at Dushanbe International Airport by Tajik Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaimon and other senior officials, according to the Tajik Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.
The agenda includes discussions on expanding bilateral cooperation, strengthening trade and economic ties, and exploring new opportunities for mutually beneficial engagement between the two countries.
The 13th meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, and scientific and technical cooperation was held in Ashgabat on Oct. 16, 2024.
