Large-Scale Constructions Underway in Ashgabat

As part of the 16th phase of urban construction of the capital city of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, the construction of the multi-story buildings planned along Taslama and Tyahran streets along Makhtumkuli Avenue continues as planned. Recently the construction companies started to cover the buildings with marble cladding.

According to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the construction of the project is carried out by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on an allocated land with a total area of 35 hectares.

Ten 12-storey 72-apartment and six 12-storey 48-apartment living houses will be built in line with the general Plan. The comfortable high-raise buildings will have 442 three bedroom, 382 four bedroom and 184 five bedroom apartments for 1008 families in total. The construction of 6 pedestrian underpasses and 5,564 meters of roads is also included in the project.

In January 2018, the President of Turkmenistan, while inspecting the construction works in Ashgabat, approved the project for the construction of a residential complex along Taslama and Tyahran streets. The construction was launched in March last year and is expected to be completed in September 2020.
