International Exhibition of National Products of Central Asian Countries kicked off on Friday at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, located in the city of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan’s western velayat of Balkan. The two-day exhibition is held within the framework of the third Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
The exhibition around 250 exhibitors, including state and individual enterprises of Turkmenistan specializing in agriculture, food and processing industries, construction, production of building materials and electrical equipment, as well as in trade, in the field of IT technologies, services, transport and logistics.
The exhibition, deployed on an area of 2,090 square meters, also presents one national pavilion for each four countries of Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Uzbekistan additionally presented the stands of 5 national companies.
The Heads of Central Asian countries – President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev – attened the International Exhibition on its opening day.
Exchange trading will also be held within the framework of the exhibition. At the end of the exhibition all participants of the forum will be awarded with the relevant certificates and diplomas.
