The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) over the past week amounted to $22.515 million, the country’s official media reported on Monday.
The Emirati business bought heavy vacuum gas oil produced at Seydi refinery in foreign currency. Businesses from the UAE, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan procured liquefied gas, jet and lighting kerosene, oil bitumen and technical sulfur produced by Türkmennebit, Türkkmengaz and Türkmenhimiýa state concerns.
In addition, companies from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan bought plain-dyed and jacquard terry products.
Last week, 32 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
