President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Rifat Hisarciklioglu, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye held a meeting in Ashgabat on Wednesday to further strengthen relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye in fuel and energy complex, chemical, textile and food, transport and communications, agriculture industries.
Rifat Hisarciklioglu expressed Turkish business groups' interest in the development of bilateral relations and said that Türkiye highly values Turkmenistan's achievements, the official Turkmen media reported.
Stating that Turkish companies' active participation in the development and modernization of important industries demonstrates the fruitful nature of Turkmen-Turkish relations, the Turkmen leader focused on key indicators of trade and economic cooperation.
President Berdimuhamedov and Rifat Hisarjiklioglu discussed the development of trade turnover between the two countries.
Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges confirmed that Turkish business groups are ready to participate in the implementation of major reform programs and structural projects in Turkmenistan.
At the end of the meeting, Turkmen President and Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye expressed confidence in further development of bilateral cooperation.
