The National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a business trip to Ashgabat, visited the exhibition of Turkmen trade complex at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday.
Halk Maslahaty Chairman and Tatar Leader got introduced to services and products offered by Turkmen trade complex. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the private sector of the country is creating new production facilities, manufacturing goods necessary for production systems, transport and communications complex, the official Turkmen media reported.
The National Leader of Turkmen people and Head of Tatarstan visited an exhibition section of carpets and carpet products made in Turkmenistan. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye also visited the exhibition.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by heads of relevant organizations of two countries.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects for bilateral cooperation, particularly intensified relations in fuel and energy sectors, the implementation of earlier agreements in transport and communications.
The Head of Tatarstan emphasized that Tatar companies are very interested in developing relations with Turkmenistan, which is recognized as a reliable partner and a country that approaches its cooperation commitments responsibly.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the conference should actively study the proposals and discuss the topics, take necessary actions to achieve relevant agreements in the area.
The National Leader of Turkmen people and Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye also visited Arkadag city.
