President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr on April 21, 2023, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.
The document was adopted to further strengthen the unity and integrity of the Turkmen people, cherish traditions and preserve spiritual resources.
Following article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, April 21 which is the Eid al-Fitr holiday is announced as a day off.
All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, are instructed to ensure the implementation of this Decree.
