The International Forum on Investment Attraction to the Energy Sector of Turkmenistan launched its work in Dubai on April 26-27 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The main organizers of the event are Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit State Concerns alongside the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation and the British company GaffneyCline.
Over 300 delegates attended the event, including representatives from major companies such as PETRONAS, Dragon Oil, Siemens Energy, Total Energies, CNPC and ADNOC.
In his welcoming address to the forum participants President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the event would allow to more actively attract investments in the oil and gas sector of the country, to establish and promote fruitful cooperation with leading foreign companies, to introduce the latest scientific achievements into production.
The UAE Minister of State Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Turkmengaz Chairman Batyr Amanov, CNPC Middle East Company President Wang Guihai and Total Energies Senior Vice President Laurent Vivier.
The first day of the forum includes three sessions focusing on investment opportunities in the Turkmen energy sector onshore, environmental aspects of hydrocarbon field development, and the outlook for domestic and regional energy market development.
