President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via digital system on Saturday, outlining plans for the state budget for 2024, the main directions of socio-economic development and investment program of the country, the official Turkmen media reported.
According to the Resolution, the Ministry of Finance and Economy is instructed:
to organize the work on the preparation of drafts of the State Budget for 2024, the main directions of socio-economic development and investment program of the country and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers before November 1, 2023;
to distribute the calculation forms and methodological guidelines for the drafting of the above-mentioned projects to ministries, line agencies, and governors of provinces, Ashgabat, and Arkadag cities until June 1, 2023
To create a working group of specialists and organize its effective work for the preparation of the above-mentioned projects.
At the meeting, several draft documents were considered and priority areas were discussed.
