KAMAZ, the Russian manufacturer of trucks, aims to open its fifth service center in Turkmenistan’s northern province Dashoguz, the Baku-based Trend News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Currently, there are four service centers in the country for KAMAZ vehicles, used in different sectors of the Turkmen economy.
The first KAMAZ service center was opened in July 2008 in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Similar centers were opened in the city of Turkmenbashi in November 2021 and in the cities of Mary and Turkmenabat in September 2022.
In early 2023, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, announced that the company had delivered two electric buses and an ultra-fast charging station to conduct tests in the climate of Turkmenistan.
