The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will soon visit Iran, according to the congratulatory letter from Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Constitution Day and the State Flag of Turkmenistan. The letter was published by the Turkmenistan's official media on Sunday
In the message, the Iranian President expressed satisfaction with Turkmenistan's determined stance in the comprehensive development of international and bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly cooperation in the transit, water and energy sectors.
"The recent increase in the volume of gas transported through the Islamic Republic of Iran is a vivid example of this," President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said.
The Iranian President also stressed that he is looking forward to the upcoming visit of Halk Maslakhaty Chairman to Iran and expressed hope that the meeting will discuss different vectors of cooperation in political, economic and cultural spheres.
In closing his congratulatory message, President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sound health, success and prosperity of the Turkmen people.
