The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals worth more than $24.4 million, the SCRMET reported on its official website.
Businesses from the UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan and China’s Hong-Kong bought 43.5 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel of Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern. The total value of transactions amounted to more than 24.35 million.
In addition, companies from China bought pillowcases, bedspreads and blankets worth $49.5 thousand.
Entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Afghanistan bought 10 thousand tons of liquefied gas at the SCRMET trades on Wednesday.
Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
