The Döwlet Gurlushyk company will build a 4,000-seat multipurpose cultural center in Ashgabat, the official Turkmen press reported on Sunday.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree authorizing the Municipality of Ashgabat to sign a contract with the Döwlet Gurlushyk company to develop a project for the construction of a 4,000-seat multi-purpose cultural center and the arrangement of adjacent areas.
The decision was signed in order to create more favorable conditions for the cultural recreation of residents and guests of the city of Ashgabat, as well as to further enhance the architectural and urban development image of Ashgabat.
As noted in the report, the construction work on the cultural center was ordered to start in August 2023 and be completed and put into operation in June 2026.
In August 2025, a modern cultural park will be opened in the Choganly Housing Complex in Ashgabat.
