Turkmenistan’s Leadership Sends Condolences to Russian and South Korean Presidents

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent their condolences to President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, the official Turkmen media reported on Tuesday.

The Turkmen President and National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed their condolences to President Yoon Suk Yeol of South Korea on the passing of his father Yoon Gi-jun.

In light of this tragic situation, the Leadership of Turkmenistan conveyed sincere words of sympathy and support to the South Korean President and his family members.

According to a report by the South Korean news agency The Korean Times, Yoon Ki Jung, the father of President Yoon Suk Yeol, passed away at the age of 92.

The Turkmen President and the National Leader of the Turkmen people also sent messages of condolences to President Vladimir Putin of Russia over the loss of life and injuries resulting from an explosion at a gas station in the city of Makhachkala.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, the President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the People's Council extended words of sympathy and support to all the relatives and loved ones of those who perished, and wished for a speedy recovery to the injured.

According to the Russian TASS news agency, the explosion that occurred at a gas station in Makhachkala resulted in the death of 35 people and injury of 47.
