The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Archman sanatorium in Baherden district of Ahal province and inspected the projects of facilities planned for construction and reconstruction of buildings, as well as with the conditions created for recreation and health improvement of visitors, the country’s official media reported on Saturday.
The Halk Maslakhaty Chairman inspected the plans for reconstruction of buildings of the Archman sanatorium and construction of modern facilities, as well as drawings of their location.
After completion of construction works, the sanatorium will be able to accommodate up to 1.32 thousand people at a time, according to the report.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was shown the designs of new buildings planned to be erected on the territory of the sanatorium, reconstructed Health Path, sheds under which patients will rest, playgrounds for children, pipelines of drinking and healing water, electricity and gas supply systems, sewerage, a number of technical facilities, highways, as well as of landscaping of territories adjacent to the buildings.
The Halk Maslakhaty Chairman emphasized the importance of timely start the construction works and its high quality implementation. In this regard, he addressed instructions to the relevant leaders and instructed them to keep under control the progress of these works.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting, attended by some vice-premiers, heads of ministries and sectoral departments, including the health care sphere.
The new building of Archman sanatorium opened in 2009. A 7-kilometer spring water pipeline and a health path was laid to the resort.
