President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent congratulations and best wishes to President of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un and all the people of the country on the occasion of the Day of the Foundation of the Republic, the official Turkmen media reported on Friday.
The Turkmen President wished the DPRK Head good health and happiness, and to all the people of the country - peace, well-being and prosperity.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also sent congratulations and best wishes to the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and all the people of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day.
"The Republic of Tajikistan has achieved great successes in all spheres of social and political life and new heights in the economic development of the country, as well as gradually strengthened its authority in the international arena. Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the expansion and development of bilateral relations with the Republic of Tajikistan. It is gratifying to note that our countries successfully coordinate actions in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres," the head of state said in his message.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the DPRK were established on January 10, 1992, and diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan were established on January 27, 1993.
