Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan and President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov honored distinguished members of the organization, including representatives of Turkmen diasporas abroad, by presenting them with the "Ynsanperwerligiň Sarpasy" badge. This recognition took place during the XXIV Conference of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens held at Ashgabat's Mekan Palace on Wednesday.
The conference, chaired by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, saw the participation of representatives from Turkmen diasporas abroad, as well as citizens from all regions of the country, according to the official Turkmen media.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov commenced the event by presenting a congratulatory letter from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the forum participants.
"We will continue to develop friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with the states of the world, including those with Turkmen diasporas," Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in his message.
This was followed by a session where foreign delegates received detailed information about the successful implementation of Turkmenistan's extensive socio-economic programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of the population and strengthening the country's international standing. The meeting also highlighted significant international projects undertaken by Turkmenistan, which contribute to furthering fruitful cooperation with foreign countries.
The conference also featured speeches by representatives of Turkmen diasporas abroad.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as the President of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, signed a resolution to convene the XXV Conference of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens in Ashgabat in September 2024.
The conference concluded with the adoption by the event participants of the Address of Thanks to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
