The total amount of transactions at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCREMET) for the past week amounted to $12 million 36 thousand, the press service of the SCREMET reported.
Business people from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation paraffin, polypropylene and liquefied gas produced at the State Concern Turkmen Oil production enterprises. Portland cement became the basis of transactions of business people from Afghanistan and Turkey.
In addition, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and the Kyrgyz Republic purchased cotton yarn, bed linen sets and smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products for foreign currency.
Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased fittings, polypropylene, road viscous bitumen, hand carpets and cotton yarn produced by the state concern Turkmen Oil for the domestic market, totalling over 137 million 190 thousand manat.
Last week, 65 deals were registered at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan trades.
