During an online government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister for Construction and Industry Baymyrat Annamammedov informed Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov about the plan to construct new road bridges along the northern Ashgabat-Geoktepe bypass highway. These bridges will meet modern requirements and international standards and span the mudflow canal and railway.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that the reconstruction of the northern highway will contribute to the continued modernisation of the national road transport system, ensuring reliable and safe passenger and cargo transportation.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal to build the road, which, as mentioned earlier, would include bridges along the northern bypass highway, and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take the necessary measures.
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan stressed the importance of closely monitoring all construction projects in the country to ensure their high quality. Additionally, the president signed a resolution to reconstruct the Akhal-Teke Horse Riding Center and construct additional buildings and facilities. The resolution was sent digitally, with instructions to oversee its implementation. The government meeting also discussed various socio-economic development tasks and other relevant matters and considered several draft documents.
