Turkmenistan is participating in the 6th China International Import Expo, held from November 5 to 10 this year in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. This large-scale event has gathered about 3,400 enterprises from 154 countries and regions worldwide.
Turkmenistan is represented by a delegation including representatives of the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the country's business representatives, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry reported on Wednesday.
At the international import fair, exhibitors represent various sectors, including agriculture, food processing, automobiles, lubricants, spare parts, chemicals, internet technologies, computer manufacturing and supply, textiles, jewellery, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, projects and inventions.
The participation of Turkmen producers in this esteemed international exhibition will allow them to showcase their high-quality products to the global import-export market. It will also facilitate the expansion of trade and economic relations with various countries and pave the way for mutually beneficial negotiations soon.
The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a significant event organised by the Chinese government. It aims to support trade liberalisation and economic globalisation and serves as a platform to showcase the government's image and promote international trade.
