During the 5th business forum of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Tashkent, representatives from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Pakistan expressed their interest in the transport and logistics routes of Turkmenistan.
As stated by the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCIT), the business community expressed their interest in various products during the forum. They specifically expressed their interest in textile products produced by entrepreneurs and enterprises affiliated with the Ministry of Textile Industry. Additionally, they showed keen interest in the diverse range of high-quality products manufactured by entrepreneurs in Turkmenistan and exported to numerous countries worldwide. Furthermore, the business representatives also expressed interest in the oil and chemical products produced within Turkmenistan.
According to the report, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan attended the event from the Turkmen side.
Furthermore, a businessman from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan expressed interest in establishing a trading house from Pakistan in Turkmenistan.
UzDaily reported that the business forum was part of the 16th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit. Over 300 delegates from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye participated in the forum, where they discussed the current status and prospects for enhancing and expanding trade and economic cooperation within the framework of the ECO.
