President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Suheil Al-Mazroui in Ashgabat on Friday. During the meeting, the head of state invited the UAE partners to actively participate in implementing major international energy projects initiated by Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the Turkmen side expressed willingness to actively exchange views and carefully consider specific proposals by representatives of UAE business entities, the official Turkmen media reports. During the meeting, the sides highlighted the importance of practical cooperation in trade, economics, finance, fuel and energy, transport and communication. They also engaged in discussions regarding the prospects for further developing interstate cooperation.

On the same day, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development. The two discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between their countries.
