Nearly 100 Turkish Companies to Exhibit Their Products in Ashgabat

Nearly 100 Turkish companies working in various fields are expected to participate in the Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Türkiye, held in Ashgabat on December 6-8, 2023.

Batyr Atdaev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in charge of the trade and textile complex, made the statement at a regular online meeting of the government on Thursday, the official Turkmen media reports.

The Deputy Prime Minister also informed Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov about the preparations for the upcoming seventh meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation. The report also detailed the progress made in organising an exhibition of export goods and a business forum.

Deputy Prime Minister said that the exhibition will present companies operating in various fields, including the production of technological equipment for industrial enterprises, construction and agricultural machinery, water treatment equipment and water supply systems, heating, ventilation and cooling systems, electrical protection, various types of household appliances, detergents, consumer goods, as well as services in the banking sector, healthcare and equipping of educational institutions.

Upon receiving the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the close partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye. He instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure necessary preparations for the exhibition of export goods and the business forum.

During his report, Batyr Atdayev provided information on the initiatives carried out by the trade complex to commemorate the International Day of Neutrality and the upcoming New Year celebration. He emphasised that on December 5, holiday fairs will be held in Ashgabat, Arkadag and other provinces. These fairs are intended to cater to the population's diverse needs by offering a wide range of products and services within the framework of the planned activities.
