SCRMET Records $14,5 Million Worth of Transactions on Thursday
Trading at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan.

The total value of foreign currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday totalled $14,5 million, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan reports.

A trader from the British Virgin Islands purchased lighting paraffin from the KO-20 brand produced by the State Concern Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil). The total value of the transaction amounted to $14,056 million.

Business representatives from the Kyrgyz Republic, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Türkiye made purchases of cotton yarn, dyed terry products in medium tones and various sizes, cotton fibre and regenerated cotton fibre. The total value of these purchases amounted to $535,475.

Local business representatives purchased cotton delint residues, undistilled crude fatty acids of cotton soapstock and natural fatty acids of cotton soapstock for the domestic market. The total value of the transactions amounted to 6,480 million manats. 

Last week, the SCRMET concluded deals worth of $83,643 million through trades.
