An international scientific and practical conference and exhibition commemorating the year "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar" opened on Wednesday at the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The event included an award ceremony recognising the exceptional achievements of athletes and their coaches who participated in the 14th World Kurash Championship held in Ashgabat in November of this year.
In a grand ceremony, the country's athletes and coaches were awarded the keys to two 2023 Toyota Camry V6 cars and five 2023 Toyota Fortuner SR5 cars.
According to the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the football club "Arkadag", which became the champion of Turkmenistan and the winner of the Cup of Turkmenistan, was also presented with the keys to a MAN RRZ 19.440 EEV bus.
At the International Scientific and Practical Conference, a grand ceremony was held to award state honours to the exceptional representatives of the country's youth who have distinguished themselves during the "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar" year. Following the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, young people who have demonstrated outstanding performance in various sectors of the national economic complex were presented with these prestigious awards.
The event also hosted the awarding ceremony of several diplomas and certificates from foreign organisations.
Festivities were held on Thursday to celebrate and present valuable gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, along with gifts, certificates, and honourable mentions from ministries and sectoral agencies, to the young people who have distinguished themselves this year.
The multi-disciplinary exhibition, which opened on December 27 in the exhibition hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, will end on December 30.
