Turkmenistan's delegation is set to engage in the Global Gateway Investment Forum on Sustainable Transport, happening in Brussels on January 29-30, 2024.
As reported by Mammethan Chakyev, the General Director of Turkmenistan's Transport and Communications Agency, during an online Government meeting on Friday, the forum will feature negotiations with European companies to enhance collaboration and undertake joint projects in the transport sector, the official Turkmen media reports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed a high-level plenary session focusing on "Investment Opportunities in Turkmenistan's Transport Complex".
As reported, the discussions will play a pivotal role in reinforcing cooperation and implementing strategic projects.
Chakyev also reported on preparations for the subordinate structures' Work Plans for 2024, aimed at boosting regional freight traffic and transit capabilities.
