Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan Yoshimasha Hayashi on Monday. During the conversation, which took place within the framework of the working visit of the Turkmen delegation to Tokyo, the sides discussed the organization of the first Summit of Heads of State of the Central Asia+Japan Dialogue.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov emphasized that the Turkmen side supports the holding of this high-level forum.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on the current state and prospects of collaboration in priority areas.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the dynamic development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan across political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian domains. It was emphasized that consistent high-level political dialogue forms the foundation for effective collaboration.
