Motor vehicle diagnostic and registration centers commenced operations on January 23 at the police departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan in the Bereket and Kyzylarbat districts of the Balkan region.

The opening ceremonies were attended by representatives from law enforcement agencies, including the Police Road Supervision Service, as well as members of public organizations, elders, and other dignitaries, as reported by the official Turkmen media on Wednesday.

The inaugural events featured various activities, including performances, concerts, dance presentations, and acknowledgments. On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, elders presented valuable gifts to specialists who played an important role during the construction of the new, modern buildings.

According to the report, the newly established facilities are equipped with all the necessary conditions for conducting inspections of light and heavy motor vehicles, trailers, steering controls, vehicle headlights, brakes, speed measuring systems, and exhaust smoke volume. These inspections adhere to set standards, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The centers also facilitate the recording of obtained data into electronic vehicle systems.

On January 22 of the current year, solemn opening ceremonies for diagnostic and vehicle registration centers also took place at the police departments of the Buzmein district of Ashgabat city and the Ak Bugday district of the Ahal region.
