Turkmen President Appoints New Prosecutor of Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday during a State Security Council meeting signed a decree on the appointment of the new prosecutor of Ashgabat, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.

According to the document, Junior Counselor of Justice Allanazarov Nedirguly Orazgulyevich has been designated as the new prosecutor of Ashgabat.

Allanazarov previously served as the deputy prosecutor of the Ahal province.

The presidential decree aligns with Article 16 of Turkmenistan's Law "On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan".

The State Security Council's regular meeting encompassed a review of the military and law enforcement agencies' January 2024 performance, outlining priority tasks for enhancing security, stability, and the material and technical base of security forces.
