Transactions on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during the past week amounted to over $44 million 563 thousand, as reported by the SCRMET.
Representatives from business circles in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan acquired polypropylene, hydro-treated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, and base oil produced by the "Türkmennebit" (Turkmen Oil) State Concern.
In foreign currency, representatives from the business communities of the UAE, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan purchased raw fabric, cotton yarn, and waste. The total value of transactions exceeded $44 million 563 thousand.
For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs procured oil road bitumen and polypropylene from the "Türkmennebit" (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, technical sulfuric acid from the "Türkmenhimiýa" (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, float glass, as well as handmade carpets. The total value of these transactions amounted to over 220 million 162 thousand manats.
Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan recorded 21 transactions.
