Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended heartfelt congratulations and wishes to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his 70th birthday. In a congratulatory letter, the Turkmen leader announced the decision to confer upon Recep Tayyip Erdogan the title of "Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan" in honor of this significant milestone.
As reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Sunday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that one of the most important aspects of Turkmenistan's foreign policy is the consistent development and strengthening of strategic and long-term relations with Türkiye across various spheres.
"In interstate cooperation, we always adhere to the fundamental principle of 'One nation – two states.' This, in turn, serves as a robust foundation for coordinated actions between Turkmenistan and Türkiye at both bilateral and international levels," highlighted the Head of State.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also acknowledged the contribution of numerous Turkish companies participating in economic projects in Turkmenistan, contributing to the diversification of the national economy and the realization of socially significant projects.
